Last nights show in Louisville was outstanding! We drove in from Nashville with mediocre morale, little rest, and no expectations. I'm was in awe that a week had finally passed. Feels like I left home ages ago. So played Headliners and aside from the stank smell out back, this is a great venue to play. We got loaded in about an hour and some change before show time. The crowd was thick when we mounted the stage and alot of them were there to see us, which was great for morale boosting. From the first song, heads were nodding and bodies swaying.
By the time we ended the set with Crosstown Traffic, the applaus was thunderous. This lead to our most prosperous merch nite so far! A few folks are coming to Chicago to see us at HOB tonite and many asked when we'd b coming back to Louisville or nearby. After show there was pizza and beer. JT got to talk to JJ Grey in depth. I shared a room with Nick. This is normally tolerable as Nick is a great roomie, but last night (with sinus infection in tow) he snored like a hibernating bear. I finally dozed at 4:10. Now, I'm in the van with Jordan waiting on the others. It's 11:22. I've taken my vitamins and am ready for Chicago! I'm predicting we will do well. It's our second time at the House of Blues but this time play the main room! Movin on up!!!
