It's Monday! The day is beautiful and I've been productively handling up preparing for the next outro of shows! I realized I don't get up early anymore. Early falling somewhere around 8:30. This morning I rolled over at 10:15, having to be at an eleven o'clock meeting, which I made on time, but other appointments have been pushed around. I'm wahshing clothes, preparing to do some playing and listening of music, handle up on some emails and then I'm heading out to get lost for a few hours inside creating and empire building.
It's days like today that it dawns upon me that the fellas aren't around. I'm so used to having them around now. I think about JT or a song we do and may start playing my harmonica for no reason. Either way, I do have moments where I miss them - moments. This is real talk, which I don't mind expressing. My heart has no problems with it. Being home a lone is the best decompressor however!
I have no plans of doing any socializing today - yet getting in trouble on my own is the order of the day. I will resume tomorrow including folks in my daily dipping of to-do's. Today is one of those days I pray I don't get arrested because I can do what I want. This is a dangerous area for me and always has been. Luckily, I have some classes coming up so until I handle the business of taking care of emails, losing privacy on the Twitter account (privacy on the internet is an illusion), and fucking around with my Jack LaLanne power juicer (HA!) I can't bust loose just yet, but by tonight I'm gonna be somewhere like Half Price Books turning it out. Yeah, I get wild like that. Part of me is just kidding. I have had two cig free days so far. Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer from the Slippery When Wet Album is blaring from my television and my nephew just walked in the door. He's driving now and just asked if he could keep Tyler Durden when I'm out of town. Sheeit. My car . . . I told him yup. Hell, I can't keep gritting my teeth and tensing up at everything. I've since changed the station on my television. I have a prototype of the PARDON ME Cd case and it's a great package! I'm really proud of what we've been able to accomplish in making the CD happen. I seek and desire more opportunities to work with talented producers like J.J. It's almost four o'clock. This Springing forward on the time hasn't been as dizzying as in the past. Hell I was lost in time when my mother told me that time would be changing this weekend. AAAAhhhh. Marvin Gaye sanging about signifying . . . I love life and I'm coming after YOU to enjoy it with me!
I'm doing deep meditation session tonight as well. No shrooming, just deep meditation. This ain't Bonnaroo . . . yet. HA! So, whose with us at Bonnaroo? I wish more of you would TWEET from our shows. I love recap scrolling through TWITTER some late nights before I go to bed.
We're all looking forward to SXSW. My schedule is to be headed out Wednesday at some point. Make sure you double check our calendar to be clear on dates times and expectations of cost. It was great times last year and I'm focusing on making it another worthwhile comeback year. With two new guitars on the set, jamming out on the JTNL set won't be a problem. I have some great video coming up to get you to SXSW. Continue to enjoy this site as it grows.
