We have completed show number two with JJ Grey. We r in
Birmingham, Alabama. We changed our set a bit becuz last night in
Jackson, we r certain we came so hard, the folks could not process
what had happened to them. So this time we slid in on the crowd. JT
was proud to say that Alabama was his birth home - then had to follow
it up with being from Dallas where the Cowboys lost today. Womp! Womp!
Womp! However the reception after the show was waaay better! Merch
moved and folks in B-ham will spread the word. JT's sister is a BIG
supporter and she brought her friends out. Brent (the hot wing king)
showed up and assisted us n hunting down dinner. We ate at Rocky's
pizza parlour which has outstanding spaghetti! The ride from Jackson
was solid. I tried to read The Four Agreements, but only could agree
to sleeping. I'm still playing catch up from being home. Maybe
tomorrow as we venture to Mobile, Alabama where we have two acoustic
sets. Jordan and Nick still have the retched coughs, but I haven't
elixered them yet. Nick also can't hear out of one ear. I told him to
cut back on the cigs, but it's like trying to tell a brick to b soft.
So far, I'm keeping my word on blogging from my phone. Stay strong,
