It's Friday and I'm nursing a callus from tambourine playing in Kansas City, KS last night. Crossroads was the venue. We opened for Lucero & The Old 97's. Our homie, rock n roll neophyte, EJ Norris is with us. Before I give u the drama let me say that this tour has been good. More settled and without a RM, there's little room for error so it seems that only the van is our concern. The A/C went out the day we left and it was a sweatfest but we moved forward, rocked St. Louis and had the A/C sort o' fixed. The Old Rock Hose n St. Louis is an official JTNL hot spot! People from K*SHE*95 radio were there as well as friends fam, and fans. They dug our set and we appreciate the energy. Now, we r on the way to Southwest Airlines bcuz the airlines lost EJ's Norg. It's set us back on travel time trying rearrange behind the error. However things seem to b working out with reimburesement checks and whatnot. JT has lost a pair of shades and we picked up flip flops he left behind. It's not uncommon for things to b left. We r a do it yourself operation for the most part. Good news! We sold a good amount of merch! Pushing merch is a duty. We hope everyone is well. Texas is still a devils fart worth of heat so stay cool. On to the airport and then to Wisconsin.
