    Our Bozeman Show

    July 01, 2010

June 30 was yesterday and so was our show in Bozeman, Montana. We had load in at 7pm for a 10pm set start, but as is our way of rolling on the 'if something is to go wrong' theory...it did. We decided to leave the hotel at 5:30 or so. Ironically, that's when the rain clouds rolled in and started to bring the pain of Mother Nature. A hail storm of a rather violent nature rolls thru, knocks 20 windows out of other hotel rooms and wreaks havoc on the town. By the time we arrived at the Filling Station we weren't sure if we'd have an audience at all. Bozeman is a college town and with summer in effect, as well as the storm, we were greeted by locals and transplants who were happy we came out. Not a big crowd- maybe 40 people or so. The FS is not a big place. It capacities out at 250. This being our first show in three days of course it was a party. JT is sounding better with each cigarette he avoids. July will mark the beginning of a four month stint. Oh and Brandon killed on his Crosstown solo. We all did well just had to give highlights. JTNL played a one hour and thirty minute set and we have the few satisfied Bozemanites and the sweaty clothes to prove. We got calls for encore, dished out. Few posters, made new friends and plans to return in the fall or spring with hopes of capturing a larger audience. We are well and in good spirits even though we lost a van window to the hailstorm and didn't make any money. Sometimes it's the spirit that dwells in our shows that carries us and keeps our morale in good company. We hope you are faring well in your city or town. Please tell your friends about us. We will b rocking your way soon. (This is an unedited blog).

    Ciao!
