We have survived our Midwest summer 2010! It's Thursday and we are on our way to Amarillo to finish things up. Last night we played Black Sheep in Colorado Springs. It was a glorified rehearsal. No one was there. Well, maybe three people outside of the staff. Moments like these are humbling and angst invoking all at once. The sound system here is bad ass however. Our show at the Bud Light Summer Nights festival turned out to be a hit. We were the only band and we brought out JTNL magnetism. We did two sets and JT made the cover of the Vail daily the next day! Our driving day on the 5th of July was good except Jordan got a ticket for doing 45 in a 30. He was reading a text when he looked up and saw we were being signaled to pull over. Lol! Jordan and the po'-po' is an interesting mix of thoughts. I was shotgun that day and vowed to not ride shotgun when Jord-O drives cuz he fiddles with the celly a bit much for my comfort. Fireworks, moutains, wildlife, music, laughter, dreams coming true all day long. We hit up Amarillo tonite. Hoots is the joint. Folks have Twittered that they are awaiting our arrival. We won't disappoint.
