Reporting from Wyoming. I was told last night that Grand Teton really means Big Breasts. Of course fans told me this and there was liquor nvolved! Our show at the Mangy Moose was a grand success.
We arrived after a four hour drive that was so breath taking it made losing the window in the hail storm appear to b a righteous blessing. Green mountains, highway side riverstreams and flowers with colors u can only find in the mega Crayola box. If u ever find yourself up this way u will see. Funny thing is I felt Montana was more beautiful until we arrived n Wyoming. However, people here swear that Utah is even more compelling. Once we got here, we checked n and headed to our radio interview at KMTN. Had a wonderful lunch (cilanto salad did me right), and got to our resort rooms. Oh.... Grand Teton is a ski resort/summer get a way.
Our show started at 9:45. It was supposed to begin at 9:30 but management suggested a delay. Before the started we were selling merch. About 40 people were n the room, but 20 of them came to party. Folks from Arkansas, Steamboat, Milwaukee and ACL were n the house.
The two set three hour gig went over well. There was a fight at the bar to cap off the show. It was some regulars tusseling it out. Don't think anyone was hurt, but someone definitely lost their flip flops. Jord-O was so enthused that he made an announcement from stage that the after party was n our condos. Really?
I can attest to a gathering but I witnessed nothing. I was too busy trying not to get sucked in, hiding out on a lower bunk in total darkness in a stand off with my condition because I was fairly gone coming off stage. 2 sheets to the wind. Fans love to get you wasted. Oh they loooove to get u wasted!!!! On to Ketchum.
