We're driving from Nashville to Enterprise, Alabama as I type this from the back seat.  Kudos to modern technology for connecting me to the web via satellite.  Any how, we had a great show last night at 12th & Porter and tonight we're playing a festival called Bama Jam.  It's a three day concert with all sorts of performances, but mostly country-based acts.  It's funny, I went to Bama Jam many many years ago as a little tyke with my parents.  I remember my mom getting excited to see Clint Black...lol.  You may or may not have known, but I was born and grew up in Alabama.  So coming back some 18 years later, only this time to take the stage is slightly nostalgic.  It makes it even better playing with several bands we've become friends/fans of.  Like Lucero, Tyler Bryant, Blackberry Smoke, and others.  Also Hank Williams Jr. is playing, which is a win in my book any day.  Speaking of festivals, next weekend is Bonnaroo.  I'm seriously stoked about it.  If you aren't familiar with it you should probably check into it.  It's a massive festival with the cream de la crop acts from every genre like Jay Z, Kings of Leon, and even Conan O'Brien.  The summer is turning out to be very cool for us.  We join up with steel guitar wizard Robert Randolph tomorrow at our favorite venue in Dallas, the Granada theater.  Robert is widely recognized within the blues and jam-band community as being the MAN.  So we're pumped.  Tack on the fact that we're playing the Filmore in San Fransico with him in a week and I'm acting like a kid on christmas morning.  On a different note, Pardon Me has been doing well.  These days its difficult to judge the success of a record on sales, but I've been watching people all over sing along with my songs so I see it as another win.  I hope the songs are taking on lives of their own in your lives.  I've got a couple things up my sleeve for the fall.  Can't tell yet, but we're working on some exciting ideas.  Check out our tour schedule and come make a night special with us.  Pass the record around to your music loving friends and keep in touch.

Thanks for the love and support.  It keeps us strong when we're feeling weak.

    Much love.

JT and the rest.....I am old enough to be your mother....and I LOVE your music. I bought 'Pardon Me' after seeing you at the Backyard with ZZTop....this is embarrasing but it just plays continuously in my car...I know it has been over 100 times. Your sound is seasoned, talented, inspiring....it needs to be turned UP as loud as one can take it....and then don't be afraid to MOVE!! thanks guys!! ~Sharon
