Last nights show in Wilmington was a hot one! The Greenfield Amphitheatre is an outdoor complex that holds about 800 folks and it was packed. Out near an alligator filled lake (they kill about 10 a year) underneath a moon filled sky, we rocked it! The drive in was good. The best part about the night was celebrating the RANGERS win! Tha readio station there called THE PENGUIN is determined to have us back and the JJ Grey crew has embraced us fully. No mishaps except for the hotel rooms. We had three single bed rooms. The guys all went out to the Whiskey bar while I retreated to the room where I watched a documentary on jazz bassist, Charles Mingus and caught up on ANTM, my favorite show. I ended up having my own room which is always a luxury. Brandon and Jordan slept in the van. We gotta b able to get discounts without fucking with Priceline. They tend to to stiff us on more than three occasions. Help us if u can. I stayed up all night just catching up and it felt good. I was crashed out the entire ride to Ashville. It was six hours of uninterrupted slumber. I feel like a vampire.
So we just came off the stage in Ashville and this place is indeed Heaven on Earth! Pretty, hippie filled and robust with great food! We plyed the Orange Peel. This place is phenomenal! The staff rocks and the sound is nothing short of perfect! We are debating staying the night which is yet to b determined. I'm voting to stay and get some beach time. Folks from Charlotte came out to see us so I shouted them out on stage. We have re-upped on merch and all are healthy. Looks like Florida is in for a treat! Stay strong and stay familiar. Keep us locked into your prayers... We r representing Rock and Soul without apologies. Peace!
